Entry: Briar Wolves
The most fearsome aspect of Briar Wolves is not their razor-sharp claws or their gapping maws full of jagged teeth. It’s not even the smell of old blood that surrounds them as a product of their preferred hunting style, or the eerie echoes of their howls to one another through the Thorns. The single most terrifying thing about Briar Wolves is that they were human once. The Thorns no longer affect them the way they used to. We’re not sure why. Phina has her own opinions, but I’m gonna go with Jacob on this one.
